There are only, I believe, 6 locations for key items. I feel like shards are kind of a big thing and having them shuffled as well would make stuff interesting, but at the same time some shards have quite a low "drop" chance, and this would more or less force you to "farm" every type of enemy to see what shard he has. Some point the fans will make a castle and enemizer. Total random is the only way to live. You can spam that to fly up. 173. It's great to get something like Inferno Breath from bats, as you can get it to 9/9 fairly easily (depending on what your other item drops are, of course). I'll remember to buy Waystones. For Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on the PlayStation 4, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Randomizer - is it possible to be stuck ? I agree that the save/warp shuffle is more irritating than anything, but I guess it's good that they included it.As for All Evil: You're a better man than I am. 1. As others said, save/warp room swap sucks. Castlevania II: Simon's Quest (BloodSweatAndCode's) 8. Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts. I also kinda wish they had a function where you can speak to NPCs and they give you hints about certain things, mentioning which mobs have which shards or something. I think extra platforms in Rando mode could fix a lot of those issues. Or can a weapon or armor be both a drop and a quest reward? Maybe with randomized crafting you might get lucky and fish for an OP weapon but I'm not convinced this is "fun". Lost Kingdoms 6. ... For creating the previously disabled audio tracks for Bloodstained: RotN . Key item shuffle is the worst, like a 20% chance to lock you out or something going by the bloodstained discord. With the Quests I do agree that it sounds interesting. If they ever fix the logic to not do that, I'd be more inclined to do All Evil runs. All in all, yeah it's busted but I still enjoy it. Crafting being unchanged is still interesting since the random items makes you able to get stuff way out of order, but you can still use your existing knowledge of the crafting tables. And since a full game is quite long (specially for a non speedrunner like me) that's just a tad TOO frustrating for me. Farming shards on Chaos drops isn't too bad, and it adds more combat possibilities. I'm also unsure on the Key Items. I'm sure the logic prevents it from being locked in an area I can't reach but it's going to take way too long to find it from random drops that I think I'm just going to declare this playthrough finished. I really want to have chaos here, as it makes for great opportunities for some really exotic builds from the get-go, and once again gives that thrilling sense of not knowing what's in store for every new enemy. crafting is nice, I was able to craft a 30 def armor right after the ship. Don't randomize the save/warp. Like you said, it could be very frustrating to have to remember every single hidden room, every destructible wall, every small location just to hope to find your key item, so I also tend to stick with Shuffled. Not to mention getting things like Invert for the Zangetsu fight, Timestop for Vepar, etc. I know I'm not the only one who would like this sort of change, and I would love to see something like it worked into the game. All it seems to do for me is sometimes not letting you save near a boss and othertimes forcing you to walk long stretches that you could have teleported. Don't ask how I know. I often have to kill a lot of enemies so I'm not under leveled, but even then I usually avoid most cause there's no reason to fight. I think it's a little unfair to compare Bloodstained just released randomizer with LttP's which has been worked on for longer than Bloodstaibed itself has been released. If I'd get that 4th key item and realize the run is over because it's not the right one, I'd likely be too frustrated to start a new run, so I'm gonna have to stick with Gebel (until they fix it). mixed saves/warps is dangerous depending on your luck with mobility key shards and waystone drops if shop is mixed too. Can get annoying when you just need that Aqua Stream though :/. I'm guessing it was overlooked because it's just one room as part of a dead end of sorts.
